SBI Junior Associate Recruitment 2026 – Brief Description

State Bank of India has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens for appointment as Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in its clerical cadre.

The recruitment is State/UT-wise. Candidates must select only one State/UT while applying and must possess proficiency in the specified local language of the selected State/UT.

The local-language requirement is important because candidates who have not studied the specified local language in Class 10 or 12 may have to qualify a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) after the Main Examination and before joining.

The selected candidates will initially have no provision for inter-State/inter-Circle transfer for the first five years of service, subject to the conditions mentioned in the notification.
