The Indian Navy has invited applications from unmarried men and women for the Permanent Commission Cadet Entry Scheme (10+2 B.Tech) course commencing January 2027 at the prestigious Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala. Selected candidates will undergo a four-year B.Tech program in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding.

Eligibility Conditions
Educational Qualification:
Passed 10+2 (PCM) with 70% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.
Minimum 50% marks in English (Class X or XII).
Entrance Exam: Must have appeared for JEE (Main) 2026. Shortlisting will be based on All India Common Rank List (CRL).
Selection Procedure
Shortlisting: Based on JEE (Main) CRL 2026.
SSB Interviews: Conducted at Bengaluru, Bhopal, Kolkata, Visakhapatnam from Sep 2026 onwards.
Medical Examination: As per Navy standards.
Merit List: Prepared on basis of SSB marks + medical fitness.
Training Details
Duration: 4 years B.Tech in Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Naval Architecture & Shipbuilding.
Degree Awarded By: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).
Cost: Entire training cost, books, clothing, and messing borne by the Indian Navy.
