The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the result of the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2026. Candidates who appeared in the exam conducted on 24 May 2026 can now check the roll number list to see if they have qualified for the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2026.
A total of 13,343 candidates have been shortlisted this year against 1,016 vacancies — compared to 14,161 shortlisted last year against 1,087 vacancies.
Important: All shortlisted candidates must mandatorily log in to upsconline.nic.in between 19 June and 28 June 2026 to submit fees (if applicable), update scribe/assistive device details, fill cadre preferences, and confirm their application — failing which they will not receive an e-Admit Card for the Mains.

After final result — Marks, cut-off marks & answer keys to be uploaded on upsc.gov.in
